LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

Advocating For Youth Justice

CPLI advocates for systemic changes for children so that programs, policies and practices are developmentally-appropriate, equitably-administered and fair, and provide the necessary support for a child’s successful transition to adulthood.

Support. Engage. Achieve.

The Youth Justice Leadership Program helps develop leadership skills among youth to advocate for youth justice and ending the school-to-prison pipeline. Youth assist in crafting solutions to address the systemic issues and root causes of behavior; and create more prevention opportunities to help minimize the entrance of young people into our justice system. They offer suggestions to the community, create peer resources, and act as advocates for change.
